Southfield Estates is a planned community in South Sandwich MA. Southfield Estates community was planned by the original developers to be at the forefront of quality and lifestyle options offered on Cape Cod. One of the keys to accomplishing this goal is the architectural guidelines and the enforcement of these guidelines set out in the Southfield Residents Association Covenants documents.

In an effort to fulfill the objectives of offering superior quality, value and lifestyle the SRA board maintains a volunteer architectural committee to review all proposed plans and make a determination on the plans alignment with the Southfield Covenants.
All exterior changes to residences within the Southfield Estates community are subject to review by the Architectural Committee.
All proposed changes must be submitted for review prior to any commencement of work on the changes.
Review of the proposed plans and approval or denial of plans will be normally be completed within 30 days from submission of the plans.
Homeowner and or the general contractor must be reasonable available for clarifications during the 30 day review period.
The final denial or approval will be subject to the delays incurred by non-responsive / unavailable homeowner and or contractor and can result in denial of the proposed plan.
The SRA and the Architectural Committee have the right to impose a penalty for any work started or completed prior to approval. It may also be necessary to remove any modifications/additions or changes which are not ultimately approved by the committee.
